9:11 am2011-12 year begins on Sunday, September 18 with Choir, Nursery and Children’s Chapel
Choir resumes their ministry on Sunday, September 18th at the 10:30 am liturgy. They will be commissioned by the Rector and congregation and given their Royal School of Church Music medals. Their first rehearsal of the new season is Wednesday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m.
The Children’s Chapel resumes on the same Sunday, September 18th. Children’s Chapel is a Liturgy of the Word for children ages 4-5th grade in the Chapel. Children come to church with their parents and then go out during the Song of Praise to the Chapel. There they pray, sing songs, hear the scripture for the day and do an activity or craft related to the lesson. They return to the main worship at the Peace for Communion.
Nursery continues in the Langner Lounge. Young children may go to the nursery which is staffed by parents who work as a cooperative. They also return to the main worship at the Peace for Communion.
