Attention all men of the parish! The men’s group is currently forming at Trinity. Our mission is fellowship, service to the parish and community, and to deepen our belief and understanding of Jesus Christ. We are in process of planning our activities in the months ahead.
In the weeks ahead, we will be starting to read and discuss the C.S. Lewis book Mere Christianity. C.S. Lewis is widely known for the Chronicles of Narnia series of children’s books. However, Lewis is regarded by many as one of the most influential Christian apologists of his time. Mere Christianity is a theological book by C. S. Lewis, adapted from a series of BBC radio talks made between 1942 and 1944. In Mere Christianity, Lewis, an Anglican, aims to explain the fundamental teachings of Christianity.
We will also begin talking about a group service project – lending our efforts to help at a spaghetti dinner to support a Habitat for Humanity initiative. Tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 15.
Our meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 9:15 AM. Grab a coffee in Conine Hall and come join us in the Langer Lounge.
