The Desert Fathers and Mothers were early Christians of the Middle East. They lived in the Middle East in the fourth and fifth century and they lived as Solitaries around established Christian Communities. Their work to be closer to Christ by living and working alone in constant prayer became an example of faithfulness that strengthened the church.

Come join Br. Chad-Anselm as we explore who these people were, the example they set and the challenges and problems they experienced. There will be opportunities for prayer, meditation and discussion during the afternoon.
