Diocese of Kajo-Keji
The Diocese of Bethlehem has a partner diocese relationship with the Diocese of Kajo-Keji in the Episcopal Church of the Sudan.
Kajo-Keji County is located in very southernmost part of the Sudan, bordering on Uganda. Southern Sudan is gradually rebuilding after a fifty year civil war destroyed every building and road in the area and left many, including most men, dead. The Episcopal Church of the Sudan is a major provider of health, education and job training in this devastated area.
Our releationship with this diocese has changed us, and we have supported the work of this amazing, fast-growing diocese of vital Christians through the adoption of Loopo Primary School and our participation in New Hope, a unique capital campaign of the diocese that directs all of the funds to Kajo-Keji and the poor of Northeast Pennsylvania.
