Acolytes

Acolytes are adults, young people and children eight-years of age or older.  Acolytes work in teams under the guidance of one of four Masters of Ceremony who assist the clergy in the conduct of worship. Training is given and assignments scheduled by the MC’s.

Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers

Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers are appointed by the Rector and also work under their own MC who does the scheduling and training. Lectors read the scripture lessons and lead the prayers of the people. Eucharistic Ministers assist the clergy with the administration of Holy Communion and are licensed by the Bishop.
