Worship

The Holy Eucharist, the principal act of Christian worship on the Lord’s
Day and other major Feasts, and Daily Morning and Evening Prayer…are the regular services appointed for public worship in this Church.
— Book of Common Prayer, page 14

Worship is at the heart of the Christian life and of the community at Trinity Church. In our worship, we unite ourselves with others to acknowledge the holiness of God, to hear God’s Word, to offer prayer, and to celebrate the sacraments.

We discover God’s love in our worship together.

We are a community that gathers regularly around the Lord’s Table for Holy Eucharist on Sundays, weekdays and for many special occasions. You can learn more about the Holy Eucharist here.

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion in the Episcopal Church, including children. Learn more about children and communion here.

We are also a community that prays together regularly. Every weekday at 12:10 we gather in the Chapel for the Noonday Office and many weekday evenings for Evening Prayer.

We encourage everyone to say the Daily Office in some form either with us at Church, in small groups or alone. A good resource for the daily office is found here.

Worship at Trinity, as in all Episcopal Churches, is an act of the whole people of God. Lay people take part in many ways: they can function as liturgical minsiters by assisting at the altar, reading the scripture lessons, leading the prayers of the people, and assisting in the ministration of Holy Communion. The assembly also takes part in their prayers, their singing, their responses to the lessons and prayers and in the offering of bread and wine and others gifts of food, money, clothes, etc. for the work of God’s people in the Church and in the world.

We invite you to join us in the worship of God at Trinity Church.
